Data Analyst

Clarinda Regional Health Center is looking for a full-time (40 hours), Monday-Friday day shift, Data Analyst.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of data analytics and report generation. Collects, maintains, interprets and analyzes data from both internal and external sources.  Prepares drafts and develops standards for different reports on data management systems.  Remains current in both state and federal compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.  Able to present data, ideas and information to identify opportunities and minimize risk while achieving strategic goals of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Education and/or Experience

  • Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in related field.

Infection Prevention Coordinator

Clarinda Regional Health Center is looking for a part-time (24 hour) Infection Prevention Coordinator who will work closely with Clinical and Non-Clinical teams for improvement on key performance indicators.  Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s Infection Prevention program.  Responsible for coordinating the infection control program which includes surveillance; analysis of data; developing reports, policies and procedures.  Provides consultation and education to staff, physicians and community leaders in respect to Infection Prevention & Control. Works collaboratively with Environmental Service Team, enhancing safety and facility processes.  Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring and staff education. 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a hospital facility preferred, IC leadership experience preferred

Information Technology Clinical Analyst

Clarinda Regional Health Center is looking for a full-time (40 hours)  IT Clinical Analyst to work Monday - Friday with on-call rotation.

Primary Function:

Serves as the primary on-site clinical IT resource for managing, implementing, updating and supporting EVIDENT system and related components.  Responsible for managing the resolution of EVIDENT incidents and fulfill requests from end users and managers.  Performs routine training directly related to clinical practices through the use of EVIDENT and any related technologies.  Provide analysis of current use and evaluates areas to improve workflow process.  Ensure application updates are maintained, document procedures and configurations, and manage external equipment in various departments.  Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring and staff education. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education – Associates degree or equivalent clinical experience required.
  • Experience - 2 years’ experience working in clinical application support, in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge - Understanding of hospital operating policies and procedures.Basic working knowledge of IT systems and applications.
  • Skills - Ability to assist end users with request for technical support. Previous experience with EVIDENT desired.

Primary Function:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical and Surgical are and in the ER as needed.  Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay.  Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision and is able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.  Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards. . Primary Function:

Respiratory Therapist

Clarinda Regional Health Center is looking for a full-time Respiratory Therapist.  Schedule is (2) - 12-hour days (6am-6pm), (2) - 8-hour days (8am-4:30pm or 10am-6pm - depending on schedule needs.)  On-call 2 weekends per month and variable times during the week.

Primary Function:

Provides age appropriate/competent respiratory care in the areas of acute care, emergency department (ED), inpatient and outpatient areas in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Clarinda Regional Health Center. Respiratory Therapist-PRN

CRHC is looking for a PRN Respiratory Therapist to join our health care team. This position provides age appropriate/competent respiratory care in the areas of acute care, emergency department (ED), inpatient and outpatient areas in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of CRHC.  Candidates must have a  current certification to practice in Iowa as either a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. RN - Weekend Package

Clarinda Regional Health Center is looking for a full time Med/Surg RN for a weekend package (works 36 hours - paid for 40 hours) day shift position. Three (3) - 12 hour shifts a week. Ten (10) full weekends or 30 shifts off per year.

Primary Function:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical and Surgical are and in the ER as needed.  Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay.  Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision and is able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.  Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards.  Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring and staff education. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an approved school/college of nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • One-year experience in hospital nursing preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
