Herzberg Resigns From CRHC Board of Trustees

Clarinda, IA | (December 30, 2017) 

Citing personal reasons, Heather Herzberg has submitted her resignation from the Clarinda Regional Health Center’s Board of Trustees, effective Sunday, December 31st.

The announcement was made today by outgoing Board Chairman Dale McAllister.  McAllister says Herzberg was elected to a four-year term on the Board of Trustees on November 3, 2015. Her duties officially began on January 1, 2016.

Victor Lee has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer of Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, IA, effective January 2, 2018.

"Victor has a wealth of experience, including long term service to a hospital similar in size to Clarinda Regional Health Center. His knowledge of healthcare and hospital management will be very beneficial as CRHC hires a permanent CEO," said Dale McAllister, Chairman of Clarinda Regional Health Center's Board of Trustees.

CRHC Announces Release of Chief Executive Officer Chris Stipe

Clarinda, IA | (December 19, 2017):   At the CRHC Board of Trustees December meeting that was held on Monday, December 18th, 2017, a majority vote was taken to release Christopher Stipe.  Mr. Stipe has served more than nine years as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at CRHC. The CEO is accountable to, and serves at the direction of, the publicly elected Board of Trustees, although he is employed by and provides services through a contract with Bryan Health System.

CRHC EMS Offers “Home for the Holidays” for 25th Year

Clarinda, IA, (December 8, 2017):  The Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) offers “Home for the Holidays” free transportation service during the Christmas season to help bedfast residents of care facilities attend family holiday gatherings. The CRHC Emergency Medical Services (EMS) crew will transport a resident to and from a family gathering free of charge from December 10, 2017 through January 3, 2018.

Nauman Named Director of Nursing

Clarinda Regional Health Center CEO Chris Stipe announced today that Renee Nauman is being promoted to Director of Nursing effective January 1, 2018.  In his announcement, Stipe says Nauman will continue to serve in her role as Manager of the CRHC Med/Surg and Emergency Departments.

Stipe adds, “Renee offers a wealth of knowledge to our team. Her deep clinical expertise has helped us elevate our level of care, not just in her direct supervisory areas, but throughout the Hospital.”
